I pulled this wine from my cellar last fall after we had pressed six barrels at out own winery. I drank the bottle with friend, winemaker, and grape historian Stephen Casscles. The medium bodied- red was a blend of New Jersey grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It's a fruit forward wine, with lots of bright cherry notes up front. A lovely drinking wine. A great match with food. Lovely middle palate. And the fruit lingers a nice long time. A lovely wine. Especially considering I bought it in 2013 and we drank it six years later. Very well done.
Two thumbs up from Steve and me!
