1911 Straight Rye Whiskey is a small-batch American whiskey produced by 1911 Established (part of Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards) in LaFayette, New York. Crafted by a historic New York State orchard, this expression uses predominantly local grains. Aged in American white oak No. 3 char barrels inside a temperature- and humidity-controlled rickhouse (probably four years or so), this whiskey is made using the classic American rye techniques.
1911 Straight Rye Whiskey is a premium small batch 100% rye whiskey that begins with big notes fresh cut rye grass, oven-baked bread, and cereal. Also on the nose, and on the palate, there's also notes of Granny Smith apple, young fresh cut pear, and a faint note of bright cherries.
