Taconic Distillery is "headquartered at Paul Coughlin’s farm on Bowen Road in Stanfordville, NY, in the Hudson Valley in Dutchess County." Distilled from a mash of 70% Corn, 25% Rye and 5% Barley. And aged a minimum of 5 years in new charred American Oak barrels, then bottled at 90 proof. This is an outstanding locally grown and made bourbon whiskey.
Taconic Distillery is best known for the pointer on the label. And this whiskey is on point!
I have been in love with this line of whiskies for many years. I have visited the distillery many times. There rye is also exceptional. The barrel strength version is also highly appreciated. Get down Taconic Distilling!
