Whitecliff winemaker Brad Martz, and co-owner Michael Migliore have a way, seemingly, with Gamay Noir. The grapes for this particular wine are grown at the vineyard in Hudson across from Frederick Chruch's Olana mansion. They flourish on the west bank of the Hudson.
This Whitecliff Vineyard Gamay Noir is a special dry red wine. Soft, with notes of strawberry, raspberry, and plum, there are hints of smoke and a lovely gentle acidity at the end of this delicate, soft red, that makes this wine absolutely mouthwatering.
One of the best reds from the Hudson Valley.
