HOW TO DRINK WINE by Carlo DeVito

My newest book, HOW TO DRINK WINE has finally arrived! And will be on sale April 2! As many of you know, I have driven all over country tasting wines. Up and down the east coast, straight through the middle of the country, and up and down the west coast from Temecula to Walla Walla.

This book is not like other wine books. 40% of all wineries in the US are not on the west coast. Here, I have highlighted west coast wines, but also east coast, Michigan, Colorado, Texas and Missouri! And Canada! In that way, I’ve really tried to present the most even handed attempt to promote wines, and winemakers, all across the country.

From Cabernet Sauvignon to Marquette, from Chardonnay to Tocai Friulano, wild fermentations, to Piquette, to hybrid grapes, to obscure whites and reds, and more. More than 350 bottle recommendations!

This is in no way a beginners book, though some basics are covered. This is a book for enthusiasts who already have an understanding of wine. This is meant to explore the cutting edge of what is going on now in American wine (although there are recommendations for some European wines).

I really hope you’ll find this book entertaining as well as super informative!
