Treehouse Brewing & Distilling - One of the Best Craft Beverage Producers in the Northeast

Tree House Brewing Company began in a small red barn in Brimfield, Massachusetts. Since day onetheir goal has been to make reliably delightful beer. The brewery has grown from a five-gallon Coleman cooler brewhouse to a state-of-the-art 60 BBL, German-engineered brewhouse. Treehouse is  an independent brewer-owned brewery. A former Master Plummer, Dean Rohan founded Treehouse in 2011. Tree House Brewing Company began its mixed fermentation brewing efforts in 2013 by capturing a native culture of yeast in Monson, Massachusetts. The business has grown steadily since. Tree House owns and operates five facilities. The primary brewery and coffee roastery is located in Charlton, Massachusetts. They maintain a brewery in Monson, MA, a Farm Fermentory in Woodstock Connecticut, a brewery in Deerfield, MA, and a taproom and brewery on Cape Cod, MA. They also have a spectacular facility in Saratoga Springs., NY.
Treehouse brews beer, distills spirits, roasts their own coffee, and offers other things, including their own 100% natural maple syrup and their 100% natural fresh apple cider. Tree House Farm & Fermentory in Woodstock has acres upon acres of organically farmed produce, fruit trees, vibrant summer flowers, and berry bushes. The produce a wide array of exceptional beers, wonderful distilled spirits, and other products (such as roasted coffee).

Julius IPA is the flagship beer of treehouse. Bright, Juicy. Hoppy, with notes of mango, peach, passionfruit, and a melange of citrus juice. An easy drinking beer Excellent. There’s also King Creamside, the Julius aged on a mountain of vanilla beans. Creamsicle beer! Damned good! Green IPA is made with western hops, and had hints of citrus and lime. Haze is a DIPA with a big tropical nose. Eureka is a fabulous blonde ale. Super tasty. Juice Machine is another fun DIPA.

I happen to be a big fan of the Vanilla Bean Catharsis Porter and the Space and Time Russian Imperial Stout. Especially at this time of year. I also like Sojourn, a dark stout with coffee notes. Also recently had the Tree House Marzen, which was damn good.

Another fun thing Treehouse is doing is distilling. Their distillery program is on point and impressive.  Love the KOLA coffee liqueur. Super luxurious. And the Richley Rum is perfect for cocktails! I also loved both of Tree House's gins - Percey's Gin and The Big Pickle. Percey's was a classic, aromatic dry London-styled gin. The Big Pickle New England Gin. Savory and aromatic. So different. Absolutely loved it. Pickletini, by extension, is a dirty Martini in a bottle. East to pour cocktail!  Both the corn and wheat vodkas were solid - clean, crisp, and no burn. The Absinthe Verte was also impressive. Made with star anise, wormwood, fennel, mint, hyssop, veronica, basil, tarragon, melissa, sweet woodruff, and hops, this absinthe had tremendous flavor..
