JOHN GRAZIANO RETIRES FROM MILLBROOK VINEYARDS

Congratulations to John Graziano as the winemaker at Millbrook Vineyards & Winery   He retired after 39 years of making wine. He has been the Stan Musial on the Hudson Valley and New York State, consistently producing great and consistent wines year in and year out.

He has always been helpful with advice and information to all the other Winemaker in the region. Quiet and soft-spoken, nevertheless, has led one of the best quality programs in the state for decades.

Lots of Hudson Valley wine notables showed up to pay the homage. Michael Migliore gave John a lifetime achievement plaque on behalf of the HVWGA (hudson valley wine and grape growers association). The party was hosted by Phyllis Feder at her home at Clinton Vineyards.

The evening was marked by tasting John’s vintages all the way back to his wines from the late 1990s.
Nothing but great words and respect for John Graziano…well done, sir !

Here's a piece I wrote on John back in 2013. He's amazing winemaker, and well deserved of any accolade one can heap upon him.
