Dolph Shaw runs one of the best whiskey book clubs on the internet. Based in Edmonton, Canada, Dolph has interviewed just about everyone in the whiskey world. Affable, funny, entertaining, informed, and insightful, Dolph is a wonderful master of ceremonies. I was lucky enough to be on three episodes of his show when he decided to tackle the big subject of Rye Whiskey. We talked about American and Canadian whiskies. We talked history, distilling, personalities, and regions. I was interviewed over the course of three shows. If you want a mini primer on rye whiskey, I highly suggest you watch these episodes!

I this one I am joined by Davin DeKergomeaux, the Dean of Canadian Whiskey writers and the genius behind the Canadian Spirits Awards. He had forgotten more than I will ever know. He has written several books on Canadian distilleries and Canadian whiskey.

These shows are about as entertaining and informative as you can get. A three hour course on rye with two hours of additional information on everything rye with real industry experts. This was a super fun thing to participate in and I can' thnak Dolph Shaw, Davin DeKergomeaux as well as Don DiMonte of Last Straw Distillery (of which I am a huge fan!).
