Winslow Winery Riesling Reserve (PA)

Winslow Winery is a family owned and operated winery located in Perryopolis, PA, and opened in October of 2015. With the help of close family and friends, owners Lindsay and Greg Winslow transformed their land into a vineyard that grows 16 varieties of grapes. They make a variety of dry and sweet estate wines. Amongst the vines they are growing include, Gewurztraminer, Chancellor,
Chardonel, Gruner Veltliner, Traminette, and Vidal Blanc.

I tried the Winslow Riesling Reserve at the EWE 2018 convention. This was a flowery, aromatic semi-sweet white wine that had lovely notes of apricots, peaches, and lemons, limes, and grapefruit with a hint of petrol. A lovely Riesling from a small, farm producer. Good balance. Nice layers. Well made. Very lovely!
