Watts Roost Vineyard Chambourcin 2012 (WV)

Watts Roost Vineyard is owned by Frank & Barbara Tuckwiller. This winery started out as a retirement dream, and is now more than 9,000 plants on 9 acres. Established in 1998, the vines flourish at the foot of Muddy Creek Mountain near Lewisburg, WV. They grown primarily French hybrid vines and award-winning wines.

The Watts Roost Vineyard Chambourcin 2012 was a very interesting find at a wine tasting I attended earlier in the year. Nice, dark fruit Good acidity and nice tannins and good balance. a Lovely, dark, dry, red wine.
