WET WEATHER DOESN'T DAMPEN CT WINE FEST 2009

The Conncticut Wine Festival 2009 went on scheduled as planned. Sturday it was gorgeous in New England and throughout the Hudson Valley. But Sunday brought with it the showers that have plagued the region of this summer this far.

It was a lot of drving the back roads to get there in the rain. But it was well worth it. We tasted a lot of great wine and met some of the winemakers. All In All, a lot of fun.

I took my two boys, who were not particularly pleased, but were happy enough to come for the ride. They were my two able bodied assistants, who were easilly placated by McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts. I'm a terrible nutritionist, but a great conspirator. Please, don't tell my wife.
